Step1: Run software on computer and connect Android
Run Backuptrans Android SMS + MMS Transfer and connect Android to computer with USB cable. Then, the software will find device connected and show it on the left Devices list.
Note: If the software could not find your Android connected, please ensure the device has USB debugging enabled first. Some Android devices require USB driver software to be installed on Windows in order to connect to a PC properly. Please refer HERE for more info.
Step2-A: Transfer all SMS and MMS to Android
1) Click the backup file in Local Database list.
2) Turn to top toolbar and press "Transfer SMS + MMS from Database to Android" button or go File -> Transfer SMS + MMS from Database to Android.
Tip: Or you can right click the backup file in Local Database list and then choose "Transfer SMS + MMS from Database to Android".
Step2-B: Transfer only the SMS and MMS with a single contact to Android
1) Click your wanted contact name under Database.
2) Turn to top toolbar and press "Transfer SMS + MMS from Database to Android" button or go File -> Transfer SMS + MMS from Database to Android.
Tip: Or you can right click the contact name and then choose "Transfer SMS + MMS with this contact to Android".
Step3: Choose a device you want to transfer to
Select a device that you want to transfer SMS and MMS to. Click Confirm to continue.
