Step 3: View WhatsApp Chat History on software
Now the software will read all WhatsApp Messages from your Android and show them on its main interface:

Step 4-A: Backup all WhatsApp Messages from Android to Mac
1) Click the Android in Devices list you want to backup WhatsApp Messages from.
2) Turn to top tool bar and press "Backup Messages" button or go File -> Backup Messages

    Tip: Or you can right click the Android in Devices list and then choose "Backup Messages".

Step 4-B: Backup WhatsApp Messages with a single contact
1) Click contact name under device you want to backup WhatsApp chats from.
2) Turn to top tool bar and press "Backup Messages with this Contact" button or go File -> Backup Messages with this Contact.

    Tip: Or you can right click the contact name and then choose "Backup Messages with this Contact".

Step 5: Select a database to save Chat Messages
Select a database to save your WhatsApp chat messages on Mac. To create a new database for your Android, simply enter a new database name. Click Confirm to continue.

Backup successfully. All your Android Whatsapp chat messages have been transferred and saved on your Mac computer. Now you can view, export or print Android WhatsApp Messages direclty on Mac.

Part Two: Restore WhatsApp Messages to Android

Step 1: Connect Android Phone
Run Backuptrans Android WhatsApp Transfer for Mac and connect your Android Phone to Mac with USB cable.

Step 2-A: Restore all WhatsApp Messages to Android from database
1) Click the backup file in Local Database list.
2) Turn to top toolbar and press "Transfer Messages from Database to Android" button or go File -> Transfer Messages from Database to Android.

    Tip: Or you can right click backup file in Local Database list and then choose "Transfer Messages from Database to Android".

Step 4-B: Restore WhatsApp Messages with a single contact
1) Click your wanted contact name under backup database.
2) Turn to top tool bar and press "Transfer Messages from Database to Android" button or go File -> Transfer Messages from Database to Android.

    Tip: Or you can right click the contact name and then choose "Transfer Messages with this Contact to Android".

Step 5: Choose a device you want to restore Messages to.
Select an Android Phone that you want to restore WhatsApp chat history to. Click Confirm to continue.

Note: Before restoring messages to Android, please follow the steps on software to backup your current Android WhatsApp data first.

Restored successfully. All your backed up Whatsapp chat messages have been transferred and merged on your Android Phone. Restoring Messages to a new Android Phone is also supported.

Tip: If you can't see the chat messages in WhatsApp on your Android, please go "Settings -> Apps -> All -> WhatsApp" and then choose Clear Cache and App Data.
(Don't worry, even though the on-screen warnings make it out that it'll delete your messages, it won't. Open WhatsApp again, wait a few seconds and the chat messages'll all flood in.)
