If Backuptrans software can not detect your iPhone directly, you can follow this tutorial to transfer messages from or to your iPhone with iTunes' help.

Step 1: Backup your iPhone with iTunes on computer
Connect your iPhone to the computer, launch iTunes, and then right click on the iPhone and select "Backup" menu.
Note: Please make sure that you have turned off the "iCloud Backup"on iPhone and iTunes before backing up in iTunes.
Step 2: Disconnect iPhone from computer>
Step 3: Import Messages from iTunes Backup
Run Backuptrans software, click "File" -> "Import from iTunes Backup" menu. Or you can right click the Local Database list icon and then choose "Import from iTunes Backup" menu.

Step 1:Backup Messages from Android to Backuptrans database(Skip if done)
Run Backuptrans software, click the Android in Devices list and then turn to top toolbar and press "Backup Messages" button or go "File" -> "Backup Messages" menu. All the messages on your Android will be saved to a local database.
Step 2: Exit Backuptrans software
Step 3: Backup your iPhone with iTunes
Connect your iPhone to the computer, launch iTunes, and then right click on the iPhone and select "Backup" menu. This step is important. You must make a backup with your iPhone in iTunes first before transferring messages to your iPhone.
