Step 2-A: Backup all SMS, MMS, iMessage from iPhone to Mac
1) Click the iPhone in Devices list.
2) Turn to top toolbar and press "Backup Messages to Local Database" button or go File -> Backup Messages to Local Database.

    Tip: Or you can right click the iPhone in Devices list and then choose "Backup Messages to Local Database".

Step 2-B: Backup iPhone messages with a single contact
1) Click your wanted contact name under device.
2) Turn to top toolbar and press "Backup Messages to Local Database" button or go File -> Backup Messages to Local Database.

    Tip: Or you can right click the contact name and then choose "Backup Messages with this Contact to local database".

Step 3: Select a database to save messages
Select a database to save your SMS, MMS, iMessage messages. To create a new database for your iPhone, simply enter a new database name. Click Confirm to continue.

Backup successfully. All your iPhone SMS, MMS, iMessage messages with attached files have been saved on Mac computer.

Part Two: Restore iPhone SMS MMS Messages from Mac

Step 2-A: Restore all SMS, MMS, iMessage to iPhone
1) Click the backup file in Local Database list.
2) Turn to top toolbar and press "Transfer Messages from Database to iPhone" button or go File -> Transfer Messages from Database to iPhone.

    Tip: Or you can right click backup file in Local Database list and then choose "Transfer Messages from Database to iPhone".

Step 2-B: Restore messages with a single contact to iPhone
1) Click your wanted contact name under backup database.
2) Turn to top toolbar and press "Transfer Messages from Database to iPhone" button or go File -> Transfer Messages from Database to iPhone.

    Tip: Or you can right click the contact name and then choose "Transfer Messages with this Contact to iPhone".

Step 3: Choose a device you want to restore to
Select an iPhone that you want to restore SMS, MMs, iMessage to. Click Confirm to continue.

Restored successfully. You will find all your messages(SMS & MMS & iMessage) with attachments merged perfectly on your iPhone after restarting. No message lost!
